Australia triumphs on Day 1 of the Trampoline Gymnastics World Age Group Championships
The Kachan School of Tumbling is adding a third Gold Medal to their cohort, following Alexsa Kachan’s victory at the Trampoline Gymnastics World Age Group Championships in Sofia last night.
Kachan was victorious in the 11-12 Women’s Tumbling division, securing the Gold with a 23.200 pass in the final.
Kachan joins clubmates Cheyanna Robinson and Ethan McGuiness as Gold Medallists, following their spectacular results at the Trampoline Gymnastics World Championships last week.
Fellow New South Wales athlete Brighton Stokes also advanced to a final on Day 1 of the World Age Group Championships, finishing in 4th place in Women’s 17-21 Double Mini Trampoline, whilst the pair of Harrison Lee and Troy Sitkowski made it to Final 1 of the Men’s 17-21 DMT, finishing in 7th and 8th place.
Competition will continue over the following days.
