Let's keep talking

Updated: 26 March 2020, 4:00pm

Following our Government’s actions to slow the spread of COVID-19, this last fortnight has seen our coaches and gymnasts say goodbye to their training facilities and look at new ways to keep moving.

It has been a difficult time for the gymnastics community. Yet in the uncertainty, the team at Gymnastics NSW have been inspired the tenacity of our gymnasts as they begin home gymnastics regimes. We have seen the compassion of our clubs and coaches, who are committed to providing motivation for their gymnasts in uncertain times. We have been thankful for you, our community, for staying united in times of trouble.

“Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”
 - Desmond Tutu

We want to encourage you all to keep talking to one another. Coaches, continue to inspire your gymnasts from afar. Families, if you are able, reach out to your club and see if there is a way you can assist them as they navigate business operations.

Now is a time to ensure we are supporting one another by following all Government advice and digitally reaching out to those in need.

Let’s keep talking. Let’s keep inspiring. Let’s keep training.

We are in this together.

- Team GNSW
