Bankstown City YMCA is a community based Gymnastics Program. Theyhave class availability for all ages and abilities being from 4 months old to adult. As a club, Bankstown pride themselves on inclusion with our Special Olympics gymnasts reaching State Level. With the guidance of their coaches, they have seen the athletes progress and grow into young adults over the past year.

Similarly, the Levels Program has seen a number of its gymnasts, both MAG and WAG, progress to State Competitions.  Throughout the year, their Recreational Program has been at max capacity, which shows that the coaches ability and their passion for Gymnastics and teaching has not gone unrecognized by the community.

Bankstown's Mentoring Program has grown this year with 6 new mentors coming on board. This will be the largest group of mentors at one time. THe staff ensure that all mentors feel confident and comfortable in their coaching style before being allocated a class of their own and they are always welcome to raise any questions or concerns they may have.

Supporting the YMCA Fee Assiatance program, Bankstown currently have 5 of our members on Fee Assistance across all levels as they strive to help all members of the community participate no matter the circumstance.

Competition results: Bankstown emphasis to all of  gymnasts that it isn't always about the results, but how much hard work and dedication is put into each training session. The gymnasts train towards new and existing goals which allows them to compete at a State Level.
