Kachan School of Tumbling and Performance
KSTP is the country’s leading Tumbling club with over 350 members participating in all disciplines of trampoline sports. They are the home of the Gymnastics NSW High Performance tumbling program and have remained at the top of overall results at State and National competitions for consecutive years now with our athletes taking out State, National and even World Age titles.
The KSTP team are dedicated and passionate about tumbling and teaching children, all being ex or current athletes, in this case they train during the day to be able to coach of an afternoon/ evening. KSTP consider our gym a way of life, not just a club. They are a family run business, so much so that our own children are growing up in the gym, developing the same passion towards it as we have

Contribution to Gymnastics: Head coach Dima is advanced level judge and is the National Tumbling Coordinator. Along with running our own clinics for our staff to ensure correct methods and techniques are being used, KSTP also run clinics for any club wishing to bring a group of
athletes in to further their tumbling skills.
KSTP have 7 current judges and encourage all committed athletes to attend the beginners course once they are of age. They provide more than our required number of volunteers at events and promote
volunteering amongst all our families.
Dima works closely with GA and helps develop and present courses be it in NSW or around the country at different state congresses. Each year KSTP hold our Annual National Tumbling Clinic which last year spread all the way to New Zealand. The clinic schedule incorporates workshops for
coaches where they can gain an understanding of the structure of our programs with the focus on elite development. Each year around 60 athletes an coaches representing all states.
Development Activities: KSTP are actively involved in the promotion of Tumbling, performing at local school’s fetes and fairs as well as community events where we can. During the holidays, KSTP have up to 1000 children from all over Sydney attend with their vacation care centers to participate in a trampoline sports
focused program at an introductory level.
KSTP are active in applying for related tv programs and sports segments in the hope of showcasing tumbling to a wider audience. In 2017 performed on major tv shows such as Little Big Shots on Channel 7 as well as a huge primetime talent competition in Germany. 7, which we were invited to be part of due to our past performances. They have regular performance spots at Carols in the Domain, McHappy Day and the Hawkesbury Show all with the intention of showing as many people as we can just what our sport is.
3rd Overall, never placed higher than 5th place. 7 state champions and 25 athletes qualify for the state team, our biggest
number ever with a lot of new ones coming through.

KSTP awarded Overall Club Champions for the 3rd year in a row. The team of 68 athletes won 28 state titles with 25 new state champions,
12 silver medals and 11 bronze medals.

20 gold medals, 7 silvers and 6 bronze a huge haul for young group of athletes.
KSTP will now see our head coach Dima and 8 of his athletes attend the World Age Group Championships in Bulgaria in November as part of the Australian team where they will attempt to better their results from 2015.
