2018 Gymnastics NSW Competition Requirements

The information below outlines the minimum accreditation requirements to coach on the competition floor at Gymnastics NSW events. Coaches must only coach within their level of competency and Gymsport, and should exercise a duty of care to participants.

 
Must hold an Acrobatic Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation 
Level 1-3a |  Intermediate Coaching Accreditation
Level 4-5 | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation + Advance Tumbling & Spring Module Face to Face  (Module 1)
Level 6-10 |Advanced Coaching Accreditation

Must hold an Aerobic Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation 
Level 1-7 National Development AG 1 | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation
AG 2 & Senior International | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation

Must hold a Men's or Women's Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation, or a GfA Intermediate Coaching Accreditation
Novice | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation
Intermediate | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation +Advance Tumbling & Spring Module Face to Face  (Module 1)
Advanced | Advanced Coaching Accreditation  + Advance Tumbling & Spring Module Face to Face  (Module 1)

Must hold a Men's or Women's Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation
Level 0-2 | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation. Can also coach 0-2 with a GFA Intermediate Accreditation
Level 3-6 | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation + Advance Tumbling & Spring Module Face to Face  (Module 1)
Level 7-10 |  Advanced Coaching Accreditation

Must hold a Rhythmic Gymnastics Accreditation
Level 1-10 | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation 

Must hold a Trampoline Gymnastics Accreditation
Level 0-2 |  Intermediate Coaching Accreditation 
Level 3-4 (U11) | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation + Advance Trampoline Module 1
Level 5-6 (U13) | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation + AdvanceTrampoline Module 1
Level 7-10 (U15/U17/17+) | Advanced Coaching Accreditation 
International Stream | Advanced Coaching Accreditation 

**Note the Module 1 for TUM and TRP are different. The TRP Module 1 must be completed for TRP Coaches

Must hold a Tumbling, Men's  or Women's Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation
Level 0-2 |  Intermediate Coaching Accreditation 
Level 3-4 (U11) | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation + Advance Tumbling & Spring Module Face to Face  (Module 1)
Level 5-6 (U13) | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation + Advance Tumbling & Spring Module Face to Face  (Module 1)
Level 7-10 (U15/U17/17+) | Advanced Coaching Accreditation 
International Stream | Advanced Coaching Accreditation 

**Note the Module 1 for TUM and TRP are different. The TRP Module 1 must be completed for TRP Coaches

Must hold a Men's or Women's Gymnastics Coaching Accreditation
NL 1-2 | Intermediate Coaching Accreditation in WAG or GFA
NL 3-4 |Intermediate
NL 5-6 | Intermediate + Advance Tumbling & Spring Module Face to Face  (Module 1)
NL 7-9 | Advanced
Level 10 | Advanced
Future, Junior &  Senior International| Advanced
**Coaches who do not meet the accreditation requirements as outlined in the above timetables will not be permitted on the competition floor at any GNSW Event.

**No Supervised coaches will be permitted on the competition floor for any event above Australian Levels 1-2.
