The keynote presenter for the Trampoline component of the 2016 Gymsport Clinic is Tatiana Koroleva, co-owner of the Elite Trampoline Academy in the United States making this an event not to be missed! Tatiana’s experiences as both a World Champion gymnast turned high level coach will provide a unique educational opportunity sure to appeal to all levels. Below is a sample of some of the topics which will be covered during the clinic:
• COP to impact routine construction
• Talent identification and how to progress them to elite
• Doing the basics well – what is used for compulsory routines
• Building consistency into routines
• Maintaining height
• Twisting somersault and new skill development
Tatiana Kovaleva is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. She first made the Russian national trampoline team in 1992 and went on to make 1994, 1996, 1998, 1999 World Championships team, taking home team gold medals in 1996, 1998, and 1999, and individual World Championship title in 1996.
After retiring from competition, Tatiana moved to the United States and began coaching. Just a few shorts years later, she was leading one of the best teams in the United States. In 2011, she became co-owner of the Elite Trampoline Academy.
Tatiana sits as the NJ State Trampoline and Tumbling Chair, the Coaching Representative to the Region 6 Board, is a member of the National Technical Committee, and is a member of the United States National Coaching Staff. She also was the American Coach for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
