Inner City region unites for a fun day of Professional Development!
On Sunday the 26th of March, Inner City region held their first Regional Clinic for the year at Five Dock Leisure Centre. Seven clubs and over 110 athletes came together to partake in practical workshops from amazing presenters from all over NSW.
Athletes in WAG level 5 to 8 were given the opportunity to refine their skills in a variety of areas including Bars, Beam and Floor choreography. Then gymnasts and coaches were exposed to innovative and unique sessions from presenters in the Acrobatics, Trampoline and Rhythmic community, with the aim of sharing knowledge that could be transferred into their artistic programs.
A big thank you goes out to the tireless volunteer Regional committee supervisors, Karina Jones, Naomi Bruce and Glen Hay who managed the entire day and thank you to all the guest presenters who shared their knowledge and expertise.
If your club or region is interested in running something similar, we encourage you to give our Education Staff a call as they would be more than willing to assist your region in setting up these unique updating opportunities. Regional education is the best way to provide quality professional development for multiple clubs residing in the same area.
