GNSW Strategic Risk Sub-Committee

The Gymnastics NSW Board seeks expressions of interest from members to serve the sport on a Strategic Risk Sub Committee.

Gymnastics currently stands at the 4th most participated sport for children under 14 in Australia (AusPlay 2018).  With a growing membership base, The Board strive to ensure that our clubs, coaches and athletes maintain their successes in the future by seeking to identify and minimise risks before they appear.

The Sub Committee has been formed to make recommendations to the Board that will assist the Board to develop strategy to mitigate strategic risks to Gymnastics NSW, its member clubs and gymnastics generally.

The Sub Committee will consist of Board Member, who shall act as Chair, GNSW employee, who shall act as Secretary, and Up to five general members appointed by the Board.

The Sub Committee will meet around 6 times in each calendar year.

Interested persons are invited to drop an email to the CEO via outlining their previous experience with strategic risk management by 30 September. Club owners are encouraged to nominate as many of the strategic risks relate to clubs and club operations.
