Beam Queen Claims World Cup Gold
After a successful month of international competitions, NSW representative Emma Nedov was selected to represent Australia at the World Cup AGF Trophy in Baku, Azerbaijan. The competition acted as a Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualification and the Australian gymnasts put their best performances forward in order to gain valuable qualification points.
Emma continues to shine on her signature apparatus and took the competition floor on Sunday night (17th March) for the Beam and Floor finals, where she was sitting 1st and 6th respectively. After a jaw-dropping beam routine, Emma claimed the top position with a tied score of 14.100. Due to a higher execution score, she was awarded the gold. Claiming her 4th international medal in a month. Finishing up the competition with a strong floor routine, Emma placed 7th with a score of 12.900.
