FreeG Grand Prix back with a bang

They ran, jumped, flipped and twisted their way into the crowd’s hearts.

Athletes at the FreeG Grand Prix #1 are excited to be back!

Vision Gymsports hosted the first Grand Prix event of the year at the end of August, the first since COVID cancelled all FreeG competitions.

More than 60 athletes competed from six clubs to see who would be the speediest and trickiest in town.

The day started off with the 5 to 8-year-olds taking to the competition floor, followed by the older age groups and divisions, all the way up to Elite Senior level.

“The kids showed off some great skill and speed and the spectators were very loud in their approval,” said Vision Gymsports General Manager Deon Ellison.

“Seeing the kids get their medals and ribbons after so long away from truly humbling.”
