Small Club of the Year
Ignite Gymnastics Club
Ignite Gymnastics Club formed in 2019. They offer classes from walking to adults (current ages 1 to 53 years old) and are located in Dubbo, Central West Region and the middle of NSW. Dubbo is the middle point for inland travel between Melbourne and Brisbane. Ignite have many families who travel up to 200km each way to attend our classes.
They are committed to staff training and have regular staff training development days.
Miss Rhythmics is a small RG club established in 2018. Miss Rhythmics believe they not only survived third and forth years of existence through pandemics and lockdowns, but increased numbers. They also placed 5th best Junior club and 7th best senior club in National Clubs Carnival in 2022. They run mentorship program for high level gymnasts to encouraging them to share their knowledge and experience with younger generation of gymnasts.
It is a small club in Moree that is part of the community. During the floods this year the club was the towns evacuation centre, then it became accommodation for the ADF during the cleanup and recovery. Due to the recent major floods in the area and the fact they came 2 weeks prior to harvest (which has and will continue to affect income in the area) the club offered gymnastic programs for the remainder of the year for $15 in the hope that this will keep the local children and young people something to do of an afternoon while their parents clean up the mess.
Phoenix Academy of Gymnastics
Phoenix is a family owned an operated club in Campbelltown. The team is passionate about coaching Gymnastics and providing an inclusive environment for all our Gymnasts and their families. Phoenix welcome children from all backgrounds and abilities and aim to provide everyone with an equal opportunity to learn Gymnastics. Phoenix offer staff the opportunity to up skill by providing training sessions, group bonding sessions, and run gymability programs as well as offering sessions to community groups such as local scout groups, Benevolent society, school groups, oshc programs.

Armidale City Gymnastics Club
Armidale City Gymnastics Club is a thriving regional club, which has proved itself to be a pillar of the region's sporting community. From starting out in a school hall, to now having first class training facilities, they aim to provide programs that are accessible to all ages and abilities and interests, with the amount of programs offered increasing each term. With almost 1000 registered members, the club has seen steady, consistent growth throughout the year, with 25% of members coming to the Club from outside the Armidale town boundary.
Castle Hill Gymnastics
Castle Hill Gymnastics has was established more than 20 years ago to cater for the growing demand for gymnastics in the Hills district and was one of the first clubs in the local area. They have a strong foundation and commitment to the sport and have weathered many changes. They strive to focus on offering quality programs in Competitive Mens and Womens gymnastics and have the philosophy of "Community Spirit and Inclusion". Castle Hill gymnastics is a progressive club, and strive to add programs that will support our community philosophy, and are successful in growth as a result.
Le Ray Gymnastics @ PLC Sydney
Le Ray Gymnastics PLC Sydney has two site locations, Croydon and Birchgrove. Their main focus is Rhythmic Gymnastics, however our Birchgrove location is currently piloting other Gymsport programs this year, with the goal to expand and launch at all Le Ray locations. Le Ray @ PLC were one of 3 clubs to launch the award winning Daughters and Dads program. With a permanent space, Le Ray @ PLC look forward to bringing new diverse programs such as FreeG and BabyGym in 2023.
South Coast Gymnastics Academy
SCGA is a family run gymnastics club based in the South Coast Region offering a wide range of different programs for all ages and abilities. This year marks the 15th year anniversary of Club owner, Liz Medway starting out her dream with about 30 gymnasts, to building a thriving and successful club of well over 500+ weekly attendees servicing our local community and others through active sport participation. In 2023 the SGAC team worked with the GFA committee to collaborate on the brand new GranderGym program.

Central West Gymsports
Central West Gymsports provides a range of gymsports and classes for all children. From KinderGym through to adult's classes, FreeG, recreational and competitive programs there is a class for everyone. A Not-for-Profit club who prides itself in providing quality programs and promoting fun, fitness and friendship for all. The club value coach education, with 3 part time Trainees currently completing their Certificate 3 in Sport and Recreation.
Kimnastix is a Gymnastics and Movement Centre, established on the Central Coast since 2009, offering classes in Gymnastics to all ages and abilities from babies as young as 9 months to young children, teens and adults.
Kimnastix has seen huge growth in 2022. This is the first year since establishment 13 years ago that we have achieved over 1000 registered gymnasts for the year. The club are so proud of what they have achieved this year as a club both on the competition stage as well as within the gym itself.
Rec Alley opened its Gregory Hills gymnastics club in March 2017 with the concept to provide a quality and inclusive recreational program. This is to encourage and promote health and wellbeing amongst our community. Rec Alley proudly develops and farms coaches specifically targeting those who have not experienced coaching in a gymnastics capacity prior, however, have acute skills and personality traits suitable to develop into great performing coaches.
The Y Bankstown
The Y Bankstown is a thriving club focused on developing its participants and staff. Gymnastics at the Y builds the foundation for strong, active and confident young people and continuously engages in supporting its local community. The Y Bankstown has also run a successful Daughters & Dads program in 2022, with 25 participants enrolling within 24hrs of the opening date and has held an Inclusions Schools Event in conjunction with a local Schools Provider (the GymMan), Special Olympics and Gymnastics NSW.
